Rest Peacefully Mr Paciullo OAM

Today Liverpool fairwelled of a beloved resident, community leader and passionate advocate for our area. Mr George Paciullo passed away last week after a long illness and whether an ally  politically or not it has to be said he was a man of vision and a passionate Liverpudlian.

I did not know him well, although my first recollections of him were as a child attending his DeMerryck Avenue home with my parents, they needed assistance with something… then not again until I worked with a colleague of his as a PA many years later.  On the rare encounters he was a warm, polite and friendly gent.  A man whose vision and passion for Liverpool and the community will be long remembered.

My condolences to his family at this difficult and sad time.  Rest peacefully Mr Paciullo…and thank you for all you achieved and strived for.
